This spring and summer Sanctuary Yoga is getting off the mat and out into nature with some amazing events! We come to our mats for healing and health in our bodies and minds, but according to John Muir true fitness is radical amazement. Being in a body and heart capable of that takes more than a mat and is completely possible when you also include good nutrition, a supportive community, and connection to nature. We are on a mission to support opportunities for balance in our own lives and for our greater yoga family!!!
On April 6th we are proudly sponsoring the inaugural EcoAgro Trail Race; a 5k and Half Marathon Benefit for Free our Waters at Crones Cradle Conserve. This is an event for the whole family (runners or not) that includes farm tours, nature walks, farm fresh food, and a race village full of local vendors and fun. In an effort to continue more local events like this Sanctuary has literally teamed up with EcoAgro. Oh yeah, I’m not kidding. We are the Free Radicals and we are running some ultra miles in the mountains of West Virginia this summer to raise funds for more local trail events. We have created an Indiegogo campaign that includes some very fabulous prizes and seriously discounted yoga. Check it out!!!
Now for the icing on the cake…
This summer we are offering a very special retreat on the shores of Lake Superior. Crafting a Yoga Practice is heading to the great north when our Florida summer is at its worst for yoga, hiking, and creating! Come to our open house to learn more and meet the teachers March 27th from 7:30 – 8:30pm.
Make radical amazement your fitness goal!
See you on the mat. See you on the trail!
